It has been a busy month in the Pez Collectors Store. We have added some vintage pez as well as some older retired inventory that had sold out. Cleaning, inspecting, photographing and listing with accurate descriptions takes time and we haven’t finished yet! There is always more being added, so be sure to check back for those pez you are wanting to add to your collection! Here are just a couple of the items we've added.
Happy 4th of July! Pez is celebrating the 4th of July with an exclusive limited edition red and white Ducky on a blue stem with white stars. It comes on a card with a red, white and blue banner and fireworks exploding in the background and a Limited Edition seal, and 3 packs of pez candy! We will have a few of these available in the Pez Collectors Store, arriving soon.
Minecraft TNT and Skeleton pez have been added to the Minecraft pez assortment and are now in stock in the Pez Collectors Store! TNT looks particularly cool with the pixels on the sides of the cube spelling out TNT and depicting an explosion on the top of the cube. Skeleton is done in black, white and grey tones. Both are available either mint in bag with candies or loose and ready to display so you may save on shipping!
Rex is the other-abled Bernese Mountain pup who is also a Dinosaur expert in Paw Patrol. He uses a high-tech wheeled cart since he is unable to walk with his hind legs. Rex is a 2026 addition to the Paw Patrol Pez Assortment. He is available either in bag with pez candies, or loose and ready to display from the Pez Collectors Store!
Henry and James are the new Minion pez for the Minions and Monsters Pez Assortment and we expect to have them available soon! Henry and James will be in stock as soon as possible.
The Full body Pikachu pez is scheduled to be added to the Pokemon pez assortment this month. We will have them in stock just as soon as possible.
Halloween Pez including the new ghost will begin shipping from Pez Candy this month. The Pez Collectors Store will add them just as soon as they are available!
Sneaker Box is a newly opened shoe store in Bloomington, Il., owned by Pez collector Brian Plath. He had a promotional pez produced with the Sneaker Box logo on a tank top on the Jersey/Sweater mold. It looks awesome and best of all, it is FREE with a minimum purchase of $60, or it can be purchased separately. It can be found by doing a search for PEZ at bnsneakerbox.com. Good job, Brian!
Another collector, Peter Gagné, is the reference archivist at the the Musée de la Civilisation (Museum of Civilization) in Quebec City, Canada. The exhibit Pleasures includes a custom-made display featuring 44 pez from Peter’s collection as an example of the pleasure of collecting. The exhibit opened on June 18 and it explores many aspects of pleasure as a multi-sensory adventure, but we are simply pleased that Pez have been included! The exhibit will run until April, 2027, so if you happen to be in Quebec, stop by and check it out!
Pez International released two new soccer ball pez, just in time for the World Cup FIFA games. These are available online for European countries from pez.at and hopefully they will also be available in the USA soon!
In August, Stitch in Shades will be added to the Disney Stitch assortment. He is really bright and colorful on the yellow stem!
There is not a lot to update for the planned conventions in the USA this year – other than to say that hotels are filling up!
Who is ready for Pezamania? This year marks the 35th Pezamania Pez convention. It is the longest running and largest gathering of pez collectors. Activities will get underway on Wednesday, July 15 and it will be nonstop fun, action, and adventure with activities, pez and pezzy people well into the late-night Saturday and probably into the early hours of Sunday as well! The Pez Collectors Store will be in our usual room 115. I hope to see you in Independence, OH!
September 10 – 12, 2026 Pez on the River – Winona, MN Hosts Sandy and Cheryl Gardner-Ghionzoli are hard at work planning a great convention for you, complete with the utmost hospitality! They will even cook for you! Check out their website at www.pezontheriver.com for details and the registration information and form. There are other events happening at the hotel, so it is vital that you get your room reserved! You need to be thinking hard about your entry for the costume contest. The convention theme this year is “Spirit of 2026” and your entry needs to contain a pez dispenser in costume to reflect your interpretation of that theme. I am hoping someone interprets it with a home brew to share!
We still anticipate that there will be an IN Crowd Gathering in October, almost definitely the first Saturday in October, and while the host information is not yet firm the Pez Flower Flavored Psychedelic looks like a great theme! I imagine there will be some arm twisting at Pezamania to firm things up, but please be gentle in your encouragement folks! Follow The IN. Crowd PEZ Gathering Group on Facebook for details!
The Pezylvania XVI Gathering will take place in Kutztown, PA in October 10, 2026. Registration packet information and pricing is available online at www.pezylvania.com and Registration will open soon. Hosts Laura Adams, Peggy Brooks and Doug Reimold are all hard at work organizing and planning for another wonderful year at this gathering in honor of Ralph Riovo, aka The Purple Cow.
