There were some really great new Pez releases this past month! It has been really fun to add the new pez to my personal collection and to our inventory! And, now we can show you most of the rest of the 2026 line up and even into 2027 with the Sweets and Snacks show reveals! There is so much news to share, I will just get with it!
New to the Pez Collectors Store this month, all the way from Serbia, are the 2026 Limited Edition Serbia FC Redstar and Partisan Soccer Ball Pez Pair. The Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) and FK Partizan teams are two of Serbia’s very popular football clubs and now they each have their own FC Soccer Ball Pez. These pez are limited editions available only in Serbia, but we have a few sets available now in the Pez Collectors Store.
Pez released a new limited edition exclusive presenter girl. This time, it is Team Raspberry! She has a magenta-colored stem and hatband and her hair is a reddish-brown color. Of course, she comes with three packs of raspberry flavored Pez Candies! We have a few of these in stock now!
Toy Story 5 was released as an entirely new assortment. Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie all have new molds and thus a different look. They are available now, mint in bag or loose to save on shipping when you are ordering a lot, so you aren’t paying for the weight of shipping the candy packs. We also have the counter display boxes available for those who like to collect the boxes!
Hopefully if you were wanting to get the Limited Edition Kid Guard Pez, you were able to do so when they popped up for a very short time on the pez website. We sadly missed them and don’t have any available, but maybe we will come across them in at some point in the future!
As mentioned in last month’s newsletter, we expect Henry and James, the two new Minion pez for the Minions and Monsters Pez Assortment to begin shipping June 1 in the USA. Minions Henry and James will be in stock as soon as possible in the Pez Collectors Store.
Paw Patrol will have a new addition to the assortment added in beginning in June so be on the look out for Rex the other-abled Bernese Mountain pup. It could be a while before it begins showing up as is often the case when new pez are added to an existing assortment.
Minecraft TNT and Skeleton are also expected to arrive sometime this month.
The new Donkey Kong and 2026 Emoji Pez from Europe have been ordered, but have not been released yet, so we are still waiting patiently for them and look forward to adding them when they do arrive!
The Full Body Pikachu is scheduled to be added to the Pokemon pez assortment beginning July 1 in the USA. This tubby little fella even has tiny little feet sticking out from beneath his very full body! We will have these available just as soon as possible!
The new Ghost for Halloween is scheduled to begin shipping July 1 as well. The new Ghost is sort of the ‘under the sheet’ version. The arms are lifted and the sheet drapes. Otherwise, it simply has two large black eyes. It is cute and not scary!
July 1 is technically the first scheduled ship date for Bluey Halloween Pez as well, but that is actually quite misleading as we found out the hard way at Easter. They cannot be sold before September 1. You will probably notice that Bluey is the same dispenser. Bingo is in a spider costume printed on a pumpkin pez and the purple stem is printed Bluey. The Halloween themed card has Bluey dressed as a Skeleton. This same theme will be repeated for each of the holidays! So, you may want to keep a pair on card as well as a pair loose. Plus, due to the embargo dates for sales, when the holiday is over, these pez must be off the shelves.
August 1 Stitch in Sunglasses is being added to the Stitch assortment! He is rocking the cool vibes with his mouth closed showing no teeth, sporting the Ray-Bans! And, he is on a tropical bright yellow stem!
September 1 a Giant Pikachu will be released and the stem will be printed with 30th Anniversary decoration to celebrate 30 years of Pokemon.
There will also be a Pokemon Gift Set released September 1 for the 30th anniversary. The Gift Set box includes Pikachu, Eevee and two of Eevee’s most popular evolutions – Espeon and Umbreon.
September 1 a Giant Minecraft Creeper will be available.
September 1 a Minecraft Chicken Jockey twin pack with a Jockey on a mini stem and a Chicken on a mini stem is scheduled for release. These should be really awesome!
September 1 the Christmas Puppy with a stocking cap will be released in the Christmas Pez Assortment.
September 1 is listed as the first scheduled ship date for Bluey Christmas, but again, these cannot be sold until November 1 so it is rather misleading. Again, Bluey will be the same dispenser, this time on a Christmas themed card with outside porch of a house all decorated and strung with Christmas lights and garland and candy canes and a reindeer in the yard. Bingo will be wearing a stocking cap printed on a red Christmas sweater with a green stem printed with Bluey.
September 15 is the first scheduled ship date for the Bluey twin pack and gift sets, but, again, they cannot be on shelves for sale before November 1. The Twin Pack features a new mold for both Bluey and Bingo and they are on full size stems. In the Gift set, the same molds are used again, this time, the full-size stems represent Chilli and Bandit, the mum and dad, while the mini stems represent Bluey and Bingo, the two girls, which could be very confusing outside of package!
October 1 a new Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Assortment with Mega Wrex, Tiger Shark and Rhinomite is due to be released. This new assortment is sure to be a big hit!
October 1 is also the date that K-Pop Demon Hunters Gift Sets will be released. This gift set will include Derpy, Rumi, Mira and Zoey. Again, I suspect this license will be wildly popular!
A new Surprised Crystal Valentine heart will be part of the Valentine’s Assortment and in a twin Pack along with the Hugging Heart Crystal heart pez for Valentine’s Day, 2027. These are due to begin shipping November 1. The same two dispensers will also be on mini stems in a 12 count valentine party bag!
November 1 Bluey Valentines will begin shipping, but they can’t be on the shelves for sale before February 15. As always, Bluey is the same dispenser and Bingo is pictured on a red heart wearing a headband with hearts on jiggly antennae. They come on a Valentine’s Day themed card with both of them wearing the headbands, dancing about as a paper airplane with a heart flies overhead and hearts are in the background.
For Easter, 2027, we can look forward to a new lamb dispenser.
In March, 2027, we can look forward to an all new Shrek Assortment! Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Gingy made their debut at the Sweets and Snacks Expo in Las Vegas and they will be a great new addition to our collections!
The Sweets and Snacks Expo dispenser was a hard won treat for those who were lucky enough to get to attend the Expo in Vegas. To celebrate the venue, what better than the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign on a Pez? So, PEZ printed that on a heart with Sweets and Snacks printed on the stem. It’s pretty cool!
Sadly, we were not able to attend this year. We try to keep expenses to a minimum and aim for around a thousand including gas, registration, motel, meals and all other expenses. Even that is pretty painful, considering I could be adding a few nice vintage pez to my collection instead! We usually drive which is doable to Chicago or to Indianapolis, but a bit harder to Las Vegas. So, the next best option to keep expenses down was to fly cheap – meaning Spirit, which had a hub in Kansas City and in Las Vegas. You all probably know how that worked out and rebooking flights at the last minute meant astronomically high prices. Normally, I am offered invitations for discounted admissions which helps on expenses, but even those came in late. I can usually arrange places to stay that are less expensive, since I am driving. It’s not quite as easy to do when flying. Then, renting a car or Ubering (I have yet to download that app and have never gotten an Uber or a Lyft myself), hotel expenses, meals out, etc. By the time this was all done, it was going to be several thousand in expenses and I could no longer justify the costs, as much as I wanted to attend. So, lengthy phone calls with a sales rep, scouring the marketing plan and trying to be sure I don’t reveal anything that wasn’t made public at the expo! And, here we are! Not being able to attend hurt as much as the news I got from PEZ Candy on the opening day of the expo – a new price list with yet another price increase. The good news is, for me anyway, the Expo is going back to Indianapolis next year!
Pez Convention updates – Deadlines are fast approaching or are already here!!! The Pez Convention hosts are all getting excited about their 2026 conventions. And, I will say again, deadlines are coming rapidly for several so if you have not registered or booked hotel rooms, you may need to get that done immediately!
- July 15 – 18, 2026 Pezamania – Independence, OH. Hosts Morgan Rhinehart and Landon Proctor have opened registration for Pezamania 35: Building a Legacy Brick by Brick. All the details and information can be found at www.pezamania.com and on their updated Facebook page PEZAMANIA "The World's Largest Gathering of PEZ Collectors. Morgan and Landon just keep bulldozing along, preparing spectacular things for us for this remarkable anniversary! Ok, I don’t think they are building a triumphal arch, but you never know! The deadline to register and guarantee T-shirt size is TODAY, May 31, so stop reading and get registered now!
- September 10 – 12, 2026 Pez on the River – Winona, MN Hosts Sandy and Cheryl Gardner-Ghionzoli are hard at work planning a great convention for you, complete with the utmost hospitality! They will even cook for you! Check out their website at www.pezontheriver.com for details and the registration information and form. There are other events happening at the hotel, so it is vital that you get your room reserved! You need to be thinking hard about your entry for the costume contest. The convention theme this year is “Spirit of 2026” and your entry needs to contain a pez dispenser in costume to reflect your interpretation of that theme. I am hoping someone interprets it with a home brew to share!
- We still anticipate that there will be an IN Crowd Gathering in October, almost definitely the first Saturday in October, and while the host information is not yet firm the Pez Flower Flavored Psychedelic looks like a great theme! I imagine there will be some arm twisting at pezamania to firm things up, but please be gentle in your encouragement folks! Follow The IN. Crowd PEZ Gathering Group on Facebook for details!
- The Pezylvania XVI Gathering will take place in Kutztown, PA in October 10, 2026. Registration packet information and pricing is available online at www.pezylvania.com and Registration will open soon. Hosts Laura Adams, Peggy Brooks and Doug Reimold are all hard at work organizing and planning for another wonderful year at this gathering in honor of Ralph Riovo, aka The Purple Cow.
