Spring has arrived in the USA and Pez Convention season is kicking off in grand style, way down south in Austin Texas where they swear it is summer already! We hope that we will be seeing many of you at the revival of the ATX convention! The Pez Collectors Store is looking forward to seeing you there or, if not there, perhaps in Kansas City, or in Michigan, or Cleveland, or Winona – Pez Convention opportunities abound through the next few months in the USA, and there are even more that we aren’t able to attend! Be sure to check the list at the end of the newsletter. Meanwhile, Pez is busy releasing lots of new pez to keep us on our toes and the licensed items just keep coming out! There is always plenty to search for and add to the collection!
March brought us a new Exclusive limited edition St. Patrick’s Day Pez. For this limited edition exclusive holiday pez, the company reimagined the Nutcracker Pez and turned it into a leprechaun with a printed green stem saying "Happy St. Patrick's Day!". The green hat has a black band and yellow buckle and he sports a red bow tie which is a bit atypical. More atypical is the yellow handlebar mustache and wide goatee circle beard, as the leprechaun is usually presented with a Bandholz full beard. Still, the intent is obvious and is a creative reuse of the Nutcracker mold. These sold out and were retired in the USA within a few hours! We have a few still available in the Pez Collectors Store!
Zombie has been added to the USA Minecraft Assortment and is in stock now, joining Creeper, Pig, Alex, Steve, and Enderman.
Also just added to the Minecraft Assortment is an exclusive Steve from A Minecraft Movie. This exclusive dispenser features a block head with a highly detailed printed image of Jack Black as Steve, rather than the pixilated block version of Minecraft Steve. We have these in stock as well in the Pez Collectors Store.
The USA Hello Kitty Pez Assortment arrived in the Pez Collectors Store. There are two completely new pez in the 2025 Hello Kitty Assortment, plus a variation of the My Melody Pez. The Purple Bow with Purple stem Hello Kitty is printed with Hello Kitty Pez all over the stem, so it is called Hello Kitty All Over. This pez is also available in Europe. Kuromi is available only in the USA at this time! The 2025 My Melody mold is the same as the original released in 2005, but the printing is just a bit different and the stem is updated to a newer 7.5 Patent. The 2025 My Melody in bag and in the middle has a thinner smile and the eyes are not as big as the 2005 printing, shown on the far right for comparison. While the differences are subtle, all differences matter for the variation experts! Be sure to get all three to have the complete assortment!
The European Hello Kitty Pez Assortment arrived and it has two Pez that are not available in the USA, plus the purple bow, printed purple stem Hello Kitty All Over. The Full Body Hello Kitty Rainbow is an ombre fade that looks wonderful! Also included in the set is the Hello Kitty with Blue Bow with Rainbows. We have these available now!
Naruto arrived from Europe and we have a few of these awesome Japanese manga characters in stock now. Naruto is the yellow haired main character, Sakura is the pink haired girl and Sasuke is the blue haired boy. We expect these to be the same as the assortment scheduled to be released in April in the USA, but we have a few of the European sets in stock now! We have orders placed for the USA Assortment and for the Naruto Pez Twin packs as well.
Easter will be here April 20 but the Easter Pez have been available for quite a while now! Be sure to add the Peeps Chicks and Bunnies, the new Floppy Ear Bunny and Sitting Bunny and new Easter Egg to your collection and to a few Easter Baskets as well!
We are pretty sure that Pez Candy will have a limited edition exclusive available for Easter that will likely be released early in April. We are looking forward to see what special dispenser they come up with!
Ken was supposed to join Barbie in a new Pez Twin Pack for April release, however, our order for these was canceled as the new assortment with Ken is now “on hold indefinitely”. We have no idea when these will be available, but we will get them as soon as we can.
The European Barbie and Ken assortment scheduled for April 2025 release includes Ken and 3 new Barbies with different color outfits and details. Unfortunately, the new assortment release has been delayed until they sell out of the existing Barbie assortment. Rest assured that the Pez Collectors Store will get them as soon as possible when they become available!
The 2025 European Emoji pez assortment with all new faces and printed stems includes a Love emoji, Awesome emoji, Cool emoji, and Cloud Emoji which is the rainbow ombre emoji with clouds printed on the stem! These were expected to be released in Europe around April 1, but this new assortment is also delayed until the existing Emoji inventory is depleted. Our order for these is on hold until they are released!
The new Pokemon assortment with Gengar, Winking Eevee and Happy Pikachu was also supposed to be released in April. Our order for these was also canceled as the dispensers are not ready yet and there is no date yet for when they might be available. Again, we will get them just as soon as they are available!
Originally, the Winking Pikachu and Gengar Mini Pez Clips and the Mini Stitch and Angel Pez Clips were scheduled for release May 1. These were pushed back until June 1. We will have them in stock just as soon as our order is shipped to us from Pez Candy!
Time is getting away and you need to get registered and book your hotel for conventions as soon as possible. Several have deadlines coming up very soon.
