August brought us a few new sets of pez and we have kept busy with restocking various pez which we have recently acquired from collections. We have added a few sets to our Bandai Japanese mini pez inventory – these have become quite hard to come by as they were so limited when they were first released, and available for only a short period of time. With so many new collectors, demand is high and supply is low so the prices just keep going up every year. However, that makes them a great investment as well as great pez to have in your collection!
Pez Candy released yet another limited edition exclusive pez in the Pez Treats Sassy Snacks line. They used the Pizza mold to create a slice of Watermelon which is quite cute. The Watermelon’s stem says ”Life Is Sweet” and ironically, it comes with Sours Watermelon flavored PEZ candy! We have these available now in the Pez Collectors Store!
The Hello Kitty and Friends Pez Gift Tins have arrived and Hello Kitty lovers like Larry Castleberry will be on cloud nine! The gift tin is a wonderful cloud shape and the back of the tin shows Hello Kitty and her friends on clouds beneath a pastel rainbow! It contains four brand new Pez dispensers! Hello Kitty with a red bow and white bows printed on her stem, new Cinnamoroll with clouds printed on her stem, new My Melody mold with both ears leaning to her right side with a yellow bow and yellow bows printed on her stem, and new Kuromi wearing the black hood with a pink skull and black skulls printed on her stem. These are in stock now in the Pez Collectors Store!

Squishmallows Pez have arrived in the Pez Collectors Store. Cam the Cat, Patty the Cow and Junie the Banana are the pez that are included in this initial Squishmallows Pez assortment. They come mint in bag with pez candies or can be purchased loose and ready to display for those who prefer to save on shipping!
With over 3000 different roundish plush pillow shaped characters in the Squishmallow line, there could be many more pez in this assortment in the future. In 2026, PEZ plans to add Ingred the Cow to the Squishmallow Pez assortment and Ingred is pictured on the Graphic counter display box, along with Cam the Cat, Patty the Cow and Junie the Banana. Also shown are Maritza the Cactus, Mirren the Moth and Benny the Bigfoot. Who knows if or when these might be added to the pez assortments? Most of these boxes wind up in the trash at stores, but those who collect pez paper items will want to add them to their collections! These are shipped flat and can be opened up for displaying with pez in them or left flat for a great looking display on the wall! Super Mario Toad was previously only a European pez release. The mold has been revised and the dispenser is now available in the USA as well as Europe. The 2025 revision is a thinner face with no red around the molded smile. We have these in stock in the Pez Collectors Store!
Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skull Pumpkin pez are absolutely wonderful looking! The Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated November 1 and 2 traditionally, though some may also celebrate on October 31 as well. It is a day when family and friends gather to pay respects and remember those friends and family members who have died, generally in a humorous and festive manner. The sugar skull is a traditional ornamental gift given during Dia de los Muertos. The brightly colored skulls represent the departed souls in celebration of their lives. We have the Sugar Skull Pumpkins in the Pez Collectors Store now!
The 2025 Halloween Mini Pez Party Bags have arrived in the Pez Collectors Store. The party favor bags contain 12 mini pez dispensers - 3 sets of four mini pez! Each pez is package individually with a single pack of pez candy, making them a perfect treat for those ghosts and goblins at your door! You will want to stock up to have the coolest treats in the neighborhood! The new dispensers include a bat, a spider web with a small spider, a large spider that says Creepin’ it Real and a Pumpkin that says Hey Boo!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pez Twin Packs and the Squishmallow Pez Twin Packs are still delayed. I am not sure what the issue is with the delays on the twin packs, but since the dispensers are the same as what is available in the polybags, we will get them in stock at some later point.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Pez Gift Tin is due to be released September 1. This tin will include Jack, Sally, and Zero, each with printed stems that resemble the clothing typically seen. Jack’s pinstriped suit is reflected in the white stripes on the black stem, Sally’s patchwork dress is seen in the patchworked stem, and Zero has Jack-o-lanterns pad printed on the stem. The Gift Tin also includes an exclusive Oogie Boogie dispenser with a pad printed stem. Oogie Boogie is not available other than in the gift tin.
The Giant Pez this year is a Giant Stitch. This pez will be available beginning September 1. The Pez Collectors Store generally does not carry a large number the Giant Pez as we simply don’t have the space to store inventory for all the different Giants. We will have only a few of these in stock when they are released.
September 1 a new Sparkling Eyes SpongeBob Pez is being added to the SpongeBob Pez Assortment! This Sparkling Eyes SpongeBob will also be available in a twin pack with Patrick and the twin pack box will feature great underwater graphics of SpongeBob’s world.
Kitty Fairy is a new addition to the Gabby’s Dollhouse Pez Assortment in Europe and she is also supposed to be released in the USA beginning in September. She will be joining Gabby, Cakey Cat, Mercat, and Pandy Paws in the assortment. We will have her in stock as soon as possible.
European Jurassic World Explorers is a new Pez assortment scheduled as a 4th quarter release for European distribution. This new set looks awesome! We thank Ghosty from pezpals blogspot for sharing the images!
Expected European only releases for 2025 including Paw Patrol Rex, Mars Mission Space Alien, the 2025 Barbie Pez Assortment and the 2025 European Emoji Pez assortment releases are still up in the air as far as timing. We do not have any definitive information on when these will be available later in 2025, delayed until 2026 or if they will be canceled. We certainly hope that they will be released at some point soon!
Unfortunately, at this time, more than 30 nations from Europe, Asia and the Pacific, have suspended parcel shipments to the USA in preparation for new tariff rules going into effect this week which sunset the de minimus trade agreement allowing parcels valued at less than $800 to enter the USA duty-free. Specific instructions and requirements are not yet available for implementation, nor is a system for collection and payment of duty, so and without guidance, countries simply cannot ensure the transfer of packages from their county to the USA. Meanwhile, it is the small businesses like the Pez Collectors Store that will suffer because we are unable to get our shipments as planned. Collectors are unable to get packages from European countries because there currently are no rules in place for guidance so deliveries are suspended.
As summer comes to an end, so does pez convention season. There are still a few conventions and gatherings before we head into the holiday season. If at all possible, try to get to one! You won’t be sorry!
