In 2005, Pez printed 13 different sayings on the banner of the heart. The sayings include Happy Valentine's Day, Be Mine, Best Friends, Dream, I(heart)U, I Choose U, Prince, Princess, Smile, Sugar Sugar, Sweet, UR Special and XOXO. This year, there were hot pink hearts, maroon hearts and purple hearts, all with white hearts printed on the stems. The hot pink and the maroon hearts were printed with black ink in the italic font and the purple hearts had white ink in the italic font. This was the beginning of Pez Valentine Mania!
