The Pez Collectors Store hosted the first ever Kansas City PezHead Gathering on May 24, 2008 and the event was a tremendous success in our opinion!  It seems that everyone had a great time and we had a blast.  It was nice to see so many pez collectors from the Kansas City area as well as from across the USA attending the gathering. A few pictures are posted here and tons more pictures of the gathering are up on our website at the Kansas City PezHead Gathering Photo Gallery section.

We had a great Kansas City theme logo for our gathering items – pins, t-shirts and the gathering dispenser.  A few remaining extra items are available for sale in our webstore so there is still a chance to get these while they last.

The Charity Auction to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America raised $967.00 and the 100 charity pins sold raised an additional $1000!  The money raised will be presented to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation at the Kansas City Take Steps Kick Off in Overland Park, KS on June 14, 2008. We also had a great Trivia game and congrats to the winners Eric Thorell and Janine Kinnison who just barely beat out Shawn Peterson!

This month we will see the release of the long awaited Pirates of the Caribbean and these will be in the webstore in just a week or so. 

The Wall-E and the new Brunette Bride and Groom have arrived and are available in the webstore now!

We recently added a few other European sets – check out the European sports set with the different Pez logo – these are different than the Pez Sportz sets that were available in the USA.

Take a peek at the Midi size bunnies that finally arrived in the Pez Collectors Store.  The dip in the Easter dye created a great bunch of colored ears.

We were able to get a few sets of the remaining European Charity Mickey Mouse dispensers in tubes.

While waiting on Shawn Peterson's third edition book to arrive, we have added John LaSpina's 2008 19th edition price guide to the webstore.  It is great to have both books as reference!

We have added a new set of Wildlife Conservation Society Kliks for those who also collect other candy dispensers and we also got a few sets of the Warhol Mini Mints back in stock.

The summer convention season is now upon us. The next convention is the 16^th Annual National Pez Convention which will take place in St. Louis, June 19^th through the 21^st at the Marriott St. Louis West Hotel in Maryville, Missouri.  This is a great convention with lots of games, Pez Seminars and a great floor show with many dealers.  Visit www.pezconvention.com for all the details and to get registered for this wonderful convention hosted by John CoolPezMan Devlin and his lovely wife Marian.
